Licensing

Are you interested in getting a real estate license?  This page offers some sources for real estate classes and licensing requirements.

New Member Orientation

If you've applied for membership with the Gillespie County Board of REALTORS®, please contact Davina at the Board office to sign up for the required Orientation Class.  The required Code of Ethics class may be taken on-line at www.realtor.org.

Salesperson Annual Education (SAE)

The Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) requires those who have held their real estate licenses three years or less to take SAE courses.  This link will take you to the Licensing page for more information.

Mandatory Continuing Education (MCE)

Most real estate licensees who have held their license more than three years must take continuing education classes.  This page will let you know about any MCE classes scheduled in our area and links to other sources.

Code of Ethics Training

NAR and local Board rules now require all REALTOR® members to take Code of Ethics training once every four years.  This page lists some of the options for completing your COE requirement.

Professional Designations and Certifications

The National Association of REALTORS®, along with other organizations, offers certifications and designations in several real estate specialties.  This page lists brief descriptions of the most common ones and provides links for further information.
