Mandatory Continuing Education

MCE requirements

Most real estate licensees in Texas are required by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) to take fifteen hours of Mandatory Continuing Education (MCE) classes every two years.  To find out what MCE classes you have taken, what classes you need, and when your deadline is, please contact TREC at (800) 250-TREC or (512) 459-6544 or online at http://www.trec.state.tx.us.  (If you visit their Web site, you can look up which classes you have already taken and when.)

Please note that if you have had your license less than three years, you may need to take SAE courses rather than MCE courses; see Licensing for more information.

Current schedule

The Gillespie County Board of Realtors offers MCE classes two times per year.
